Depositing Gold in Storage - Any Advantage
Is there any advantage to depositing gold into storage (i.e. you can get mugged)? Why not just carry with you?

No, the cash you put in can only be taken out by you, so there is no threat to its safety
The advantage is, you can put up to 1000k of cash in it, which otherwise you could not hold on just your characters (Unless you had 10+) since the max is 100k per character. It also lets any of your characters use it, since they all share the common storage box. |

The main point of the storage is not actually storage (you get more space on a character than in the trunk). The point is in the ability to transfer that gold to other characters on the account.

Until I started pooling all my financial resources in my storage account, I wasn't aware how much it boosts efficiency, especially if you're trying to save up for 15k armor.

If you only have one character, then it does not matter. The use of storage is if you have more than 100,000 gold or you have more than 1 character.

Also, just in case you accidently deleted your char that have lot of golds and items. So it better to keep them in the storage, easier to keep track as well. This person....who shall remain nameless,...did that once, deleted a char with 80+k of gold in the bagpack, it was a sad day for that person. Don't let it happen to you! Put your golds in the storage.

I'd say the biggest advantage is that you can't accidentally do anything stupid and your funds are accessible by all characters.

Once you reach 100k on your character, you can't pick up any more gold. People can't give you money during a trade because it will automatically be cancelled every time. You can't sell anything to the merchant. Those are pretty strong points for putting your money in the bank.

Having your gold accessible to all your characters is very useful. That way if you see someone advertising for an item, you know if you can buy it and that you have the money to buy it handy, might prevent you from making a bargain. It's also easier to keep track of your savings if you plan on spending on armor, crafter weapons and such.

Imagine, if the economy is still affected by that phantom 80k floating around there, the inflation is suggestive of +80k plus anyone else that deleted characters with money in it. I really hope deleted money goes back into the economy, it would help stem the stupid inflation we have in the game |
